My Must see/dos in England

One of the most amazing buildings in England is Canterbury Cathedral, its unmissable. Located in Canterbury, about 1 1/2 hours from London towards the coast(and FRANCE)it hosts some of the most amazing structures you will every see. Also in Canterbury is a small boat tour you can take along a Canal originally designed to protect the city which is enjoyable..

In London itself there is a Jack the Ripper tour, hosted by an enthusiest who has immersed himself in the history of the crime.

If your looking for shopping and want to see something differt, the Picadilly Market is a must see, its incrediablly unique but also very busy. Go there for breakfast and stay all day. Alot of differnt Foods to try and they are fantastic!

Also remember, London is a fantastic City to see by night. Some of the attractions(like Buckingham Palace) are much better seen by night.

Rochester is also a nice quirky place to visit.

Lastly, when travelling, there is a store called "Boots". This store has excellent deals for lunches with various choices, it often can end up much cheaper and and easier than taking a packed lunch.

If you have any questions, just message me. I also have photos.

definately do the jack the ripper tour it's really good.
i also did a beatles tour whcih was pretty sweet too - if your into that kind of thing

netherlands - go the heineken brewery - for 10 euros u get 3 beers/the tour and a heineken glass
also smoke some weed at the coffee shops - if it spells coffee with a "K" then they dont sell it it has to be with a "c"
Make sure you stay in the red light district cos it's the main part of the city of amsterdam

scotland is awesome - i only got to go to edinburgh and did a day trip to loch ness - edinburgh rocks really cool joint

when in paris - there is heaps to do i guess im sure you'll check out the eiffel tower(make sure you go right to the top) also a must cheap bottles of wine that are actually good also get a crepe with banana and nutella from the street vendors they rock

my advice when you get to these joints (i guess it depends on how much time you have) get on the double decker buses who will take you around most of the cities and to all the major attractions...they are cheap and one ticket works for the whole day and sometimes whole weekend.

have a great time

I'm going to china/hong kong in august - anyone got any ideas?

hehe, having spent my first 28 years in the UK, we spent a lot of time travelling around as kids... we had a saying "seen one castle, see 'em all!!" :^)

The West Country (Devon & Cornwall) has some of the nicest countryside & beaches... my mum still lives in Plymouth, and one of my bro's lives in Torquay. I lived in and around Brighton, and if I ever went back to the UK, I'd head back there (or the West Country), it's only an hour or so from London on the train, so a pretty easy day trip. I also grew up in the Oxford area which is pretty cool for looking around some old buildings... and of course you have to try 'Punting' while you're there!

Amsterdam is a pretty cool city.. you've already had the main advice there! There are lots of boat tours around the canals too.

Paris is ok... I'm not a big France fan though.

DO NOT LEAVE SPAIN WITHOUT TRYING TURRON!! I cannot stress this enough!!! Being part-spanish, we used to get sent this every christmas by relo's. I still get some sent over whenever I can. There are several different varieties available, the soft nougat (blanco I think) is the best! Or the chocolate almondy one! Oh man, I'm salivating just writing this! If only I could buy it here!

Have a lot of fun!

Speaking of Spanish cuisine, you also have to try Pastillas De Leche if you can find it. It may be more of a Filipino thing (I'm not quite sure if they do it in Spain) but it's very nice. Commonly it's goat's milk, butter and sugar reduced into a paste, rolled in sugar and wrapped in paper. Could go through boxes of those things.
