I just wanted to share my experiances with www.satancity.net This website is the greatest site i have been to in a long time. They have well over 100 animes and mangas on the site, whole series, for TOTALLY free DL. You have to make a very very simple sign-up and then you can Dl all you like all day. I've got every single episode and movie from DBZ and DBGT from that site and 99% of the eps are DVD quality. A good portion need you to download Real Player which i think is the best video player anyway which you can get from uk.real.com/ and click on the Download Free Basic Player. They got some cool stuff on that site like the wickedly cool anime Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D

When i first started using it, it was all peachy, for a while a lot of stuff was being deleted but now its getting good again.

Its all streamed so you'd need to get a grabber program to actually DL the shows though.

Yeah i dont much like streamed material, and i doubt it would be DVD quality like the www.satancity.net material. I am very surprised by the .rm and .rmvb format a lot of the anime/manga stuff is in. Every episode is less than 35mb and after converting to avi from that, it ends up over 250mb. So the quality is actually unreal for such a tiny file.

Its an overseas server and i get pings around 300, but it's very playable and always heaps of people online on that server.

i dont think its ever gonna go there are way to many directors uploading episodes contantly thers a new naruto episode uplaoded each 5 days and thats only the latest ones theres 1 back to back episode uploaded every 1 day



and btw why would you want to watch the exact same episode twice ?

well unless it was a really good episode but other than that wahts the point ?

Quality Shmality...I've been downloading .rmvb eps of anime since irc started. I need to save my usage.

I download Naruto every week and when I have a full DVD I burn them off. I'm not insulting Youtube I just meant that with a DVD if mates want to see ep 1 or I want to watch it years later it's easier to find, you don't have to DL again to share it and it's easier than searching the net...that's the point of doing it (for me)
I've always prefered a tangible disk than keeping copy's of stuff on my PC.

I know you cant have small size and good quality, which is what confuses me so much. These 35mb .rm files convert to 250mb Avi files, its amazing. I know they are not spot on DVD quality, but they are so close that some eps just look like perfect dvd rips. I wasnt saying they are rips, or perfect DVD quality, but they are so close that with some eps, the difference is remote. Which really confuses me cause with all the info i know about size/quality, i am shocked at the level of quality on these eps, especially the DBGT ones. But like i said, there are hundreds of animes and mangas on that site for totally free DL.

And I've seen .mkv files which are about 70 mb that are almost DVD quality. It all depends on the encoding and how well it's done

I have no idea, i tried it with a trial version of a program once and it ended up over 250mb. Better off getting realplayer and playing the rm/rmvb files as is i reckon.
