Thanks for that kojiro. I was looking at AAPT but they have the Internet + Monthy calls (Home Chat) + Phone Line Rental and thats for residents only, Business seems to be cheaper as you dont have to have home chat. Can someone confirm this for me???

dude you only get 12gb at 512k for that price. i would scream if i had to go below 1.5mb again and i would need at least 50gb per month.

god Australia sucks when it comes to broadband!

It sure does, I have never had anything faster the 512k so I dont know any better. I just dont wont to spend $$$ on it, so I limited to $40 + Phone rental.

Is Lets Go ISP any good? And does a Normal ADSL Modem run ADSL 2?

If my area can get ADSL can I get ADSL2 or is it different?

try internode, $40 bags u 8Gb of downloads that MAY slow down when u go over (i've heard they only slow u down if extra bandwidth is needed), and they dont charge extra if u go over.

oh, and they use telstra's servers if you're worried about reliability. Been with internode for 3 months and it's only stopped once due to scheduled maintenance

If you can get ADSL2+ go with Netspace/iiNet, if you can get cable go with Optus, otherwise just get a AAPT/Primus bundle.

letsgo use optusnets lines, i was trying to connect to them but they had trouble seeing if my line was adsl2 comaptible with there service even thought it says on there list it is, so they wanted me to disconnect completely with tpg so they could check, so i thought bugger it ill stick with tpg
