Wii Software \ backing up to SD card?

You can backup save data and channels aswell, but you need to update the firmware buy logging your wii onto the net. Then it's as easy as clicking on "copy to SD card button"

of course not - the actual VC games are locked to the console downloaded to. the save games for VC and Wii titles can be moved around from console to console.

You are not able to play your VC titles elsewhere. The only way you can play VC titles elsewhere is by using Gamecube homebrew and using the emulator discs that you can get off the net, but we are not allowed to discuss this.
