Wii Hardware \ Trouble with wireless connection

hey just wondering if anyone else was having trouble staying connected to the internet with wii connect 24/7. Quite often i have to do another connection test before i can use any web features on my wii.

Its connected wirelessly and is about 5-8 m away from my wireless router so i dont think it has anything to do with signal strength.

Maybe your connection always disconnecting itself. Happened to me once so I switched to Optus broadband.

The problem I'm having is the router always too hot to touch when I'm on Wiiconnect 24 so I don't on 24/7 anymore

That's not how it should work, unless the world suddenly turned topsy-turvy. The Nintendo USB Wifi Adapter takes an existing wired connection and uses special software to send it over RF. It then receives commands over RF and then relays that back through the wired connection.
