Wii Software \ Wiiplay - Shooting range

I'm sure it's "old news" and most of you "knew that already", but..

I was mucking around with the shooting range game in wiiplay.
In one player mode, you are able to use two controllers to shoot with.

Not 100% sure how I enabled the second controller. I was already in one player mode, with one remote enabled, then picked up the second remote. Moving and shooting didn't seem to register..

I paused, wiggled both and the second hand appeared.
When I continued I had two blue targets and was able to shoot with both of them.

It's probably as simple as choosing one player and two controllers at the menu - but why do things the easy way?
The second go they seemed to work pretty much from the start.

Top score after two goes, dual-wielding is 562

It also mentions it in the user guide for the game, but I know no one reads that.
