I only know 2 mates that are still on their first iPod (first generation), everyone else I know with iPods have already had one **** up.
They are fairly big, but it's not like I go jogging with it. The size doesn't bother me.
It's quality that matters, I will of had mine 2 years in a couple of weeks (got it on my birthday, march, 2 years ago).
