Isn't everyone sick of getting magazines a month or 2 after every other country. I think we should release an Official Australian Nintendo Magazine. As far as i know we haven't got any here. I'm a writer by profession (Audacity Records) and i know i'd be willing to put in my fair share in terms of reviews, editorials, etc. Good idea? Bad idea? I'm in Melbourne. Anyone else interested? Any good ideas for the Name, Cover, Reviews?

Im sure also that among the Wii/nintendo forums and fan sites there would be more than enough talent to pull it off. Money is the big question tho. How much does it cost to produce a mag? How many readers would make it worth it.

PassP, you're right about the fact that a magazine's content could never possibly match that of the internet but I, like most people that enjoy reading, enjoy holding something in my hand - something real. Besides not every can spend all day on the net. Anyway i noticed nobody's actually got any ideas for the actual magazine yet. WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE IN IT? (We are alowed dream you know). what i would like to see:
-reviews that dont spoil the game,
-maybe u could make some sort of deal, where if u buy the mag u get like 500 wiipoints,(or lower, enough to purchase one vc game a month)
that last idea would replace the common demo disks included with magazines.

i guess somethin for everyone, and more, u'd want something u can read at least twice fully, and not get bored with the content.

The Mag should also have it's own site
There should also be a Q & A section
I think there should be some sort of reward/competion for the readers.
And a Cheats Section ( if there will be any for the wii games).

Can't think of anyting else right now.

What about contacting the guys at Hyper Magazine thats the best oz mag with Nintendo stuff in it at the moment, i think they have a parent company that also publishes a pc mag.
