Wii Hardware \ Plaza and Parade??

Does anyone know how to send the mii from the plaza to the parade. I had some ppl send me their Wii directly to my plaza but some of them are in my parade....I dunno why they have to split into two different place......do you guys know what's the difference between plaza and parade.....I m just new to my Wii....
