You're spot on. It's not confirmed at all. This blog has no references to any announcements from either Mozilla or Nintendo. It's a rumor at best.

You're spot on. It's not confirmed at all. This blog has no references to any announcements from either Mozilla or Nintendo. It's a rumor at best.

I'd also like to bet Opera has contracts with Nintendo making it the exclusive browser for the Wii.

I imagine they'd have to license anything that runs as 'software' on their system (QA and all that sort of stuff). Actually thinking about it, i think Nintendo would want to keep it simple, one browser to rule them all, that kind of thing. Yep, the more i think about it, the more it stinks. Hope i'm wrong though.
