I've just been lately getting soft crackling noises after any noise the remote speaker makes, has anyone encountered something similar?

P.S crakling only being noticed when playing Zelda

Yes, the speakers in the Wiimote are not of the highest quality, and crackling noises occur in any game that plays loud audio through that speaker. The solution is to turn it down to three bars or so.

considering it only plays certain sounds. wouldn't you rather hear the music from the tv rather then block your ears for a random tune.

hmmm, don't like the idea of wires again... the speaker isn't meant for the full volume of the game, it's an add-on to the realistic effect of ur actions.

if u had the speaker on all the time.... imagine how much quicker u have to change the batteries...
