How do you know when the Wii is downloading updates?? I have never seen it happen before. I just checked my system and it says I have the lastest update.

I know the Wii lights up blue and blinks slowly when you have a Message from someone of Nintendo has sent you some info saying a new channel is out etc but what about the update for the firmware itself?

Anyone answer this?

auto updates only apply to forcast & news channels plus mii channel. everything else your get an email from nintendo & manually download......
