it is illegal to keep a deposit in Australia. you are entitled to a full refund if you choose not to purchase the goods before taking them home. some places charge a restocking fee on ordered in goods, but they are only entitled to do this ion non regular stocked items. I am not talking just games and software here, i am talking about all retail within Australia. If they try to keep the deposit you are entitled to get back, jump and and down and scream fair trade practices act.
