In most cases it's Nintendo either bringing existing technologies, successfully into gaming, or totally creating new technologies. But what have Sony came up with? that stupid buzzer quiz game?? lol even the Playstation was actually originally suppose to be a joint nintendo product.

Of course Sony did bring out the eye-toy ( which was Okayish ) but I think this time the hi-res camera technology together with a processor that can really make sense of all those pixels being fed back by the camera should make it

So what if sony copies nintendo or nintendo copies sony. who honestly cares. as long as the consumer gets a good product and is happy with it, big deal. I mean if you are genuine about your company A shouldn't copy company B, then shouldn't you be critical of Nintendo for copying Magnavox who had the first video game console?

Thats different its like saying you should be criticle of either coke or pepsi because 1 copied the other. Making a product thats already been invented is fair enough and things are copied all over the world but i was just pointing out that Sonys come up with inferior ideas on there own they have prettymuch had to resort to copying.

I hate the sixaxis! Its sooo cheesy. Has anyone tried it? I played Gran Turismo HD (Demo version) at Game Traders and it felt like a cheap third party controller without the rumble...poor.

First of all, i said "completely dominated"...past tense. If you're going to quote someone, at least get that right! Now, on to the stats...

Just have a look at the console sales from 1995-2006(why this time frame? because in my quote i said the past 11 years). That spans from sony releasing the ps1 through to just releasing the ps3. PS1 sold 102.49 million consoles. PS2 sold 103.69 million consoles.

The nearest competitor in that time frame for a home console is...
Nintendo 64 at 32.9 million. Yep, thats dominating the market in my book. Agree with me now we've checked the stats?

And what happend with Betamax????? It went the same route as minidisc and probably Blu-ray.

I will give you the PS1 was a great machine, owned one myself. I just think they have gone too far with the PS3!
