i'll agree... whats the point? Lets all go and countdown the clock and drink till we throw up, after that we all go back to work for another 48 or so weeks..... why the excitement?

I'll be asleep by 10.30 thannks.......

Dinner at home (boring) and then drive to a party at Queenscliff (on Sydney Northern Beaches) to see friends and watch the 9pm fireworks from their beachfront balcony.

Then we'll jump back in the car, park the car at home and walk into Sydney Harbourside (we live in the city) to have some drinks and watch the midnight fireworks.

Hope whatever everyone does is fun and safe. See you in 2007.

Some people don't find parties, or social gatherings anything to exciting. I worked in clubs and pubs for over 3 years as a security guard, and I hate, literally hate, a big group of drunken people.

Apart from that I love social gatherings, the ones we're we sit around, have a few drinks, only close mates, playing some games, or table card games, etc.

But getting into a massive group of people, who just all wanna get smashed and "Pick up" is just boring.

Mario64, personally, I think there's nothing more boring than going out and getting tanked up... you can do that any night. And there's nothing worse than a group of drunken blokes who 'think' they're having fun...

We're having friends over, get the barbie going, let the kids play and take it from there.

As for "going home with a nice lady", I already have one thanks, I don't need to fill myself with grog to go home with one, and one day, when you're a bit older, you'll realise there is more to life (and fun) than beer.

Fun != Beer!!

I have had easily enough to drink between christmas and now, with people comeing over to play the Wii and drinking with me nearly every nite since chrissy, lol.
