mmm, we'll see whether that actually affects the Wii or not over time. The article mentions it could be a problem when you are downloading via WiFi and using Bluetooth at the same time... now unless you are playing something at the sametime WiiConnect24 is downloading, then this won't be an issue.. most updates & downloads hog the Wii so you can't go game playing while downloading.
I actually experienced this very problem with my Intel Mac Mini when they first came out. Wifi signal strength and Bluetooth signals seem to get really mixed up. When Apple FINALLY fixed up the problem and replaced my Mac, everything was cool again. They added some shielding to the antenna's.
The last part of the article is concerned about our "digital home theatre" system and competing products/technologies like Wifi & Bluetooth. You would assume that if the products are shielded enough to work in the same box they "shouldn't" affect each other. I have my Wii sitting an inch away from my Mac Mini and there are no reception or bluetooth issues between them.
I suspect the whole article is a "what if", and should not be any cause for alarm, or to worry people enough to go and buy a wired usb network adapter.
If the Mac Mini and Wii can operate happily together just an inch apart, both with WiFi & Bluetooth enabled, it's unlikely that it's going to affect us in 99.9% of cases.
