I have been playing multiplayer online games for over 10 years now. The game I first played was quake (1). 10 years later and the multiplayer on the next,next,next,next,next generation console (over the course of 10 years) doesn't even have a decent chat system or ranking system in place. I connect online to a laggy server (I have ADSL 2+) to wait 5 minutes for someone else to connect (HELLO, I HAVE ADSL 2+, WTF CAN I NOT CONNECT TO *ANYONE* IN THE WORLD??, IS NO ONE ELSE PLAYING??). Or, connect with friends and the only way I can talk to them is via 4 "taunts".
I couldn't believe that a console 10 years later still doesn't have a decent communication system in place for one of it's premier games. Wake the f up nintendo.
