Does anyone know of a way to improve the wii controller signal? I have a 50 inch TV and i reallllllly would like to be on my couch controling the wii ... currently i have to put a chair infront of the tv and play if im playing something that requires the signal like Zelda. The couch is roughly 4 mtrs away from the tv.
Please tell me this is possible it would make the wii so much more enjoyable and relaxing.

Thanks guys anyone who helps me will get a big HUG!!

Hmmm thats not good, my couch would be about 3 metres away & I have a 40in TV & dont have any real issues with the controller signal. It always helps thou to have good battery strength in the controller I reckon.

Do you have your sensor bar above or below the tv, perhaps swap it around to see if it works better the other way around.

Take the covers off the IR LED's on the sensor bar. (The little plastic bits at each end.) That will definitely improve your range, I guarantee it.

It will look like this:

but hold on how the hell do you actually get them off like that?

I really would hate to break the thing.

EDIT

Its pretty straight forward and well i have to say i can now lounge on my couch and play Zelda Twilight woop!
I also move the sensor bar from the bottom to the top of my tv which i think works better further away.

Thanks for the help guysh.

hey Weasle sorry but if you could rephrase your question a little clearly i would happily help you out.

If your asking about my HD setup i have a Sony Bravia full HD 50" X series
I am using component cables and running 480p for best picture quality.
Also i am running HD sound from Yamaha. (Zelda has the best sound i have heard so far on the wii its pretty clear- they use Dolby digital).
