Sounds like a bad idea, Nintendo deserves there money, but the prices for games are way to high, I bet if games were about $60 new, then there would be a lot less pirating.

i think they make more money out of europe than aust

I agree that all games should be cheaper, the $60-$80 mark is more appropriate, but why do they deserved to be boycotted just because they charge the same as, if not less than, the other two consoles?

Don't think there is a reason for the price now that our dollar is so high, there just isn't. There is no valid defence.

Also as for "paying back Nintendo for having the cheapest console" its the cheapest because its nowhere near as powerful as the other two. And its games are on normal DVD not HD-DVD/BluRay. Has anyone seen the price of a recordable BluRay disc? Let me quote PCPowerPlay on that one:

"A single 50GB Blu-ray disk is about $60, nearly twice as expensive as an entire 100 pack of writeable DVD's"

Considering PS3 games are only $25 more that doesn't really sound so bad now does it?
