check consolehunt.com its showing dvdcrave as having them in stock - 10 apparently. Dont know if it'll help get you it for christmas though - bit late for that.

I have tried everywhere looking for the Wii for Xmas for the kids. Was just about to give up and sent the misses to Chadstone where Myer had just received a new shipment! So if you are quick, I'd be getting down there ASAP. The shipment apparently arrived 9:00am today!

Good luck! But I'll have some happy campers this Christmas, and I can now relax.

I just joined up for the sole purpose of saying thank you for the Chadstone Myer tip! After 2 days of searching I managed to find a Wii there for my boss' adorable 10-year-old daughter who would have been INCREDIBLY disappointed if she didn't receive her Wii for Christmas.

(My boyfriend pre-ordered our Wii ages ago and it's under my tree, and I told him he was silly for going to all that bother! Am I glad now!!)

Big ups to Smathieson!! Good call on the Myer chadstone tip! I called them up this morning at 11:30am! I got through to the switchboard and then they tried to transfer me to the Electronic department... was on hold for 10 minutes before the switchboard lady told me that they've had heaps of calls so far, and most likely sold out...

Mentioned that i heard on a forum that a new shipment arrived this morning (Smathieson is GOD) and they checked with a manager, and low and behold... they had 20 units that just shipped in.

No phone orders possible so if i wanted one i had to head down to chadstone!! lol! i'm working so got my brother to speed down there and pick it up! very happy!

thanks again Smathieson!!

I'll be having a very merry christmas! woohoo!

there are some around. My brother after purchasing the Wii from Myer Chadstone (God bless you Smathieson!) went to buy a second Numchuck and TRU at knox. Apparently they still have a couple in there but you better be quick, i just checked on the DSE website as well and there are a couple at knox and another vic location.

Be quick tho coz they're hot!!
