Wii Software \ I am scared to play my 2nd hand copy of Red Steel...

Can I ask, after a cut scene does the game freeze in place for a few seconds before you can start playing? Or do you experience any lag now and then?

Hmmm I really do not know what to do. Thanks for the input so far though guys, I just wish there was somebody here who has played Red Steel in depth and could tell me if this is normal.

Mate that sounds like my copy of Red Steel, release game bugs I think.

Maybe it is just a really buggy game. But is the Wii disc drive meant to make really loud noises when playing different games? I remember with Metroid Prime 3 my disc drive also went crazy, constantly I heard the laser reading the disc.

The loading/freezing type issues where the main ones I was worrying about, the noises from my Wii aren't to much of a concern. Because the same happened with Metroid Prime 3, maybe some games just make the laser work harder than others.

hmmm, i experienced what i thought was a little bit of lag whilst playing cod3... however, when i played it recently the "lag" was gone. it turns out that i was too close to the screen and as it was an fps controlled by motion and infa-red, the wiimote would drop out. just make sure you're not getting too close. (might actually be lag with red steel though.

as for the noises, i just hope your wii doesn't catch fire.
