Sometimes windows doesn't like the drivers for the USB dongle, see if you can find newer drivers for it. Better yet, I'll see if I can remember where I got them from.

Yes, I have the new version of the installer provided from the Official Nintendo Website.

I'll try turning off Norton and my firewalls.

Start / Control Panel / then click the security heading and make sure it is all off

(Classic View)
Start / Control Panel / Security Center and same as above, check everything is off

ok knock yourself out then mate.

I had trouble installing the dongle, only through stubborn perseverance did I get it to work. I kept uninstalling it, and reinstalling it until it realized I was the more stubborn and it gave in.

Yeah, not much help I know.

i have the same issue with the DS and my wireless, have been looking into another way to get around it, thinking the USB

yeah it seems to be either it works or its a hell of alot of work to get it to work, my mate plugged his in and away it went, but other people have to fiddle for days (or give up) to get it to work

Mine took about an hour and a few glasses of wine. Or maybe it was the few glasses of wine that made it take about an hour.

And considering I borrowed it off Lee, I'd say it was a good investment... Until he wants it back of course. Then I'll need to buy one.

well... it does have one problem that REALLY annoys me.

thats pretty annoying, thats like the USB for my Phone, it has to be held just right or it disconnects...
