what about birdo or daisy instead of peach and instead of bowser its wario and waluigi

i just hate it when nintendo exploit there characters, they put the name of mario, yoshi or whatever on any genre type game and it sells.

dont get me wrong i do like the mario franchise but i just hate it when nintendo abuses it

Example(Mario party, mario sluggers etc..)

Yes but I disagree. He makes me laugh sometimes the way he sounds now, especially when he says "yo yo" or "Yoshi Yoshi" during Mario Kart.

I thought the record scratching sound was lazy. I think Nintendo have nailed most of the voices.

Might just be my small laptop speakers, but one of them actually sound like they're saying "Yoshi" at the start!

There are no Yoshi-exclusive games for Wii yet, so I think an RPG would be awesome. Yoshi's friends are differently colored, and have different abilities (in Super Mario World, Red = Fire, Blue = Fly, Yellow = Stomp), and hence the variation in abilities could make for party members with different skills! Throwing in m24ychal's "Yoshi Sims" idea isn't bad either, you have to build an island village, and protect it from monsters. Eventually, as the story progresses, the "hero" yoshies discover the source of monsters and destroy it.

There's a lot of untapped potential there, just aching for Nintendo to use.

How do you "exploit" a fictional character? Mario Party and Mario Sports games are awesome, except maybe Mario Golf, which is kind of boring. Nintendo were the first major video games company to span the roles of their characters out, other things like Crash Bandicoot are just Mario wannabes.
