Just thought i'd mention that my friend pre ordered the limited edition of GTA IV when it was first made available before there was anything mentioned of censoring the game, and my friend being the massive grand theft auto enthusiast that he is, was really angry to find out that the australian version of the game was to be censored. So what he did was write a very long email to the classification board of australia complaining about the censorship and demanding they bring in the 18+ rating.
Now i've been seeing stories about this issue on the news recently and they have all said they are not sure whether they should bring this 18+ rating in for games, but my friend about a week later received a letter in the mail answering all his questions and it stated that they are actually really close to bringing in the 18+ rating for games.
I just want to know if anyone else has heard anything else of this and if you think the 18+ rating should be put on games in australia. I personally think they should, theres a lot worse movies out there that get shown pretty freely.
