Wii Software \ NMH - Violence, Profanity, NUDITY, but no blood?

Heaps of swearing, not just the exclamation type, but full blown derogatory put downs? Thats fine.

Naked ladies? Why not! (I'm rank 4 and Sylvia has appeared totally naked twice. No boobies but yeh, shes naked.)

Blood? NO FRIGGEN WAY! We don't want that. It will make the game too real and corrupt kids minds.

And its not like they totally removed the blood. There's bloodstains on ranked assassins and a ranked fight is in a bloodstained studio.

Take note this isn't a criticism of the game. I actually really enjoy the game for all of the above mentioned and more.

It just seems odd to remove blood out of a game clearly aimed to a 16+ audience. And its rated M as well. Why not put the blood in and rate it MA? Just seems dumb.

That's exactly what i thought when i saw the game in store. I was expecting a red sticker. Take CoD3 on Wii for example. No Nudity. No Vulgarity. Only guns and a few pathetic blood spurts. And it's rated MA. Fair Much?

It costs a fair bit to go through the classification process.

I just played it for my first time tonight, I played the version with blood and I never really got so far to see the swearing, naked ladies etc. I do have to agree that a bit of red colouring is getting a bit low. I still remember when I had the GameGear and we had to look in magazines to get the blood code for Mortal Kombat. It was so much cooler with the blood.

They also banned a game called BMX XXX, there was no blood in that, just a bit of nudity.

The bloody version WAS the original one. I believe Suda 51 said himself that Japan and Eurupe would be getting a censored version. Luckily I have the NTSC version.

Shes naked but you dont see anything. Not like you havent seen a pair of mugumbos in your life right?

You do get darn close to seeing her polygon mammaries I must admit though.

I forgot to point out in my original post that the colour of the blood doesnt make a dif to me, I was just confused about the logic in changing it but have now learnt it was an concious effort by suda to change it for the US market (in other words we got the correct game and the US got an add on.)

Killer game though... <pun alert>

Totally agree with this post, the option to regulate the level of gore would have been appreciated as this method has been used in several games in the past as an acceptable solution.Either version rocks my socks though!! very very funny game.

The US got a blooded up version to get a publishing deal, which is disturbing considering the rate of violence in that country.
