I tend to get a lot of Huntsmen. In reply to the post above though... Firstly this spray we have normally works well, the spiders fall off the wall in no longer than say 10 seconds and then I can hit it with my shoe. Anyway this spider one time made it along my window (behind the blinds) and out the other side, then to the ceiling, he did about 4 laps of the room up there and still managed to climb down the wall and still wouldn't die. I probably used half a can of spray, I was continuously spraying. I eventually started throwing things at it and I got a lucky hit and he fell off the wall and on to the ground where I gave it a good old beating. He was a trooper this one, I felt like letting him go. I too hate spiders.
