Is anybody here else agree that we should have a chatroom? Since I suggested it all I have got is 'no no we have all agreed that is is impractical' well I was never here while that debate was going on so what is the issue exactly?

those kind of chats require you have other people's msns which is annoying. it would be good if there was a chat that you could just walk in and chat with other people

Yes, but forum useage will plummet. I just wouldnt bother coming here if the users were split between the chatrooms and forums. Perhaps an external IRC chatroom not linked to the site would be ok cause people would still come here, but not something integrated into the site itself.
