Social \ Foxtel IQ clashing with Internet?

hey if i may ask all u um nerds, {hope i get away with that} if having foxtel iq slows down my broadband? i think it has, but after doing a speed test it says im getting speeds of over 4900kbps but when surfing the net it just doesnt seem right any ideas?

When your surfing the net its not just your connection its the connection at the other end as well. Even if you could D/L a million KBPS if the other end only is allowing 3kbps then that is all your going to get.

apparently some IQ boxes have component, mine doesnt seem to have it, depends on the serial code on it. The new IQ2 boxes that are coming out for FOX HD have compoonent and HDMI outputs, but it wont be for a few months till the IQ2 box comes out

foxtel is austar for regional areas and it can interfear with your internet speed if left on while downloading

I was looking forwad to it also but now Ive learnt you have to have IQ & its only gonna be 5 HD channels & they come at a extra cost also, so Foxtel can get stuffed, I pay more than enough for foxtel now.
