There was a couple versions if I recall correctly.
game + guitar + drums + mic
game + guitar

Then you could buy drums and mic seperate.
It worked out a bit cheaper to buy the whole lot in 1 pack.

From memory I think there is also just the stand alone game as well but I could be completely wrong having said that.

I'll check the game out when it hits the wii but I'm not having a convinced moment that it would be very wiiish so to speak. Think I'll stick to getting the 360 version.

Yeah you're right I forgot to write that down

I'd be interested to see how they make it "wii specific", people are saying they'd love to use the wiimotes as drum sticks...why?!?! use actual drum sticks with rock band, it's heaps better.

Oh wait maybe the Wii specific version doesn't have downloadable content lol that'd be a Wii only feature

From what i've heard for xbox360 the Rockband guitar works on GH3 but not the other way around... the rockstar guitar has a second set of frets on the neck for solos, so the gh3 guitar would be useless not being able to do that.. it'd be like playing SMG but not having the jump button!

It would be pretty hard for it not to be compatible, Wii GH3 guitars are just redesigned classic controllers. However Rockband guitars have 5 frets near the end of the fret board (the strumming side lol). Those could just be for those who like to show off on solos.
