My internet is run through USB and i connenct it into the wii and wii sees it as wired but my modem stays on a solid light on the pc activity when its supposed to be flashin wen it reeds internet does anybody know? do i need sumthin?

Maybe you need to reset your modem. Unplug the modem for 10 secs and then plug it back in. The power that is.

And when you set up the connection on your Wii select wireless internet not wired that should fix the problem.
