Wii Software \ WHAT GAMES WORTH BUYING?

hi, i bought a Wii on the weekend and like everyone got wii sports, wii play and zelda. i am having a hard time trying to work out what other games are worth buying, and dont get me wrong i am nintendo fan from da 80's, but i just dunno if any of the current games (other than zelda) are worth it actually buying them (either crap reviews/too short in length etc). Would it be better to wait. what are your thoughts. Madden 07 would be my pick at the moment, however i bought Wii coz its interactive and wanted to be able to play with mates/Gf, i have read its quite hard to pick up and play.

any info on current/soon to be released games would be appreciated

It really depends what you're more interested in doing with your Wii. Is it something you're just going to pick up and play once or twice a week? Is it something you're going to play mostly with friends? Or is it something you're going to glue your face to the screen for the next 3 weeks?

Different people have different uses for the Wii but I'll give you some suggestions:

For casual play you, you've got the choice between NFS: Carbon or as you said Madden 07. Just something you can kick back and relax to once or twice a week.

For multiplayer fun, I'd go for Super Monkey Ball or Rayman. You already have Wii sports so that's 3 multiplayer titles and a crapload of fun!

For the intense and frequent moments, you've got yourself Zelda...which is HUGE. So I wouldn't worry too much about getting anything else unless you wish to try out Red Steel.

But if I could give you any other advice...I'd say to hold onto your money and wait it out another month or two for some more titles to reach Aussie shelves. One title on everyone's wish list is Super Smash Brother Brawl which comes out in March so make sure you have some cash left over for that

Totally agree, As mentioned Zelda is huge so that will keep you busy for ages. I'd hang onto your cash for some of the upcoming games...especially ssb brawl.

If you want to get Red steel don’t worry about its reviews I have played it and finished it. It’s an awesome game but takes 11 and a half hours to complete.
