Mario's 64 troubles - 6/10
Okay. Let's wrap things up. I'm kind of iffy on old games, so don't expect a perfect-o score.
The main idea is what you'd expect from a Mario Kart. You know, old fasioned imature competion. But this tripe has a strange feeling to it... bare. And compared to Mario Kart Wii, it's hardly a Mario Kart.
The sound in this game is... rather... a little iffy. Well, when I heard Mario say, "Welcome to Mario Kart", I couldn't help but slap my forehead. The voice was rather pixly. The sound you hear when you select your racer is enough. I know that the game is old, but, "How-Howwww"! does NOT sound like Peach. Anyway, the 64 could have done better then that. Come on! There's a slight diffrence between that and Charlie Brown Adults.
Graphics are a snooze. I'm sure that even geezers would say, " Oh, wha? What the **** is that?" I think that the graphics were good for the 64, bad for the Wii. To see my pain, play Mario Kart for an hour. You'll quit the 64 game before it starts. The edges are fradgy. And then, to top it off, you have flat edges and a pot-o-glitches. Cool, right?
For entiertanment, I say it's a 4. The game feels a little loose, like it's missing somthing. Of course. Creativity. I already raced on all the tracks, and there's nothing to do. The game is good for about a quarter hour/ 15 minuntes and then some, but it'll never be as good as Mario following titles. The tracks are so bare to me, simply because: It could have been better.
Music? You mean, with chords and notes and tremeloes? This stuff is quite diffrent. I noticed the song for Mario Raceway is the same in Wario Stadium, Luigi Circut, Royal Raceway, and... I forget. The songs are rather clear, mostly, but... they overuse songs. Well, my cousin dosn't cover her ears when the worst song comes, but, she's deaf. And I say, "Lucky You! "
