I finally worked out why i couldn't do the guitar solo in one. I was so used to doin hammer ons that i didn't realise almost all of the solo is actually single notes.
so i saved up my star power and thrashed wildly on the strum bar while watching the meter drain from green to red (lol) then when it just got to red i activated star power which practically sends you back up to green then you get another chance at getting through,, must have tried the song 50 or more times before I figured this out, then 2 times later it was complete

now just can't get past 33% of raining blood the really hard pull off bits

just got it last week and man, i love it. i don't play real guitar (but i used to want to learn how to until i decided my fingers aren't big enough and it hurts to press the chords) so this sort of makes up for it. i love pearl jam's even flow. cool song! i'm still on the easy mode but i'm in no hurry to finish it (if i can )

I think from memory I had to play the notes earlier than I expected to get the right feel.
