Social \ Eb Games, RIP OFF!

I walk out of EB Games stuck with a game I don't want, and a fond thought stuck in my mind...

I think you've been set straight buddy. Don't let one bad experiance with one idiot make or break how you buy games. We've all heard of bad stories with EB, but all stores have thier bad stories. I've never had a problem with EB and as you can see, most of the people here only speak highly of EB.

in my area their are 3 stores i complained to another store about what happened to me and that person was set straight. eb games needs us to survive they are not going to do anything to upset us as we all talk and they know this.

Excuse me but EB games are probably the best game shop in Australia much better than games wizard. If it wasn't for EBs I wouldn't have been able to trade in my Gamecube and my games to get the Wii for only 199.95 and there sales are great like their 2 for 50, half price, their pre-order deal and the trade in deals. So you had one bad experience with one sales person that shouldn't stop you from buying games from there again. Just talk to someone else.

Umm, are you kidding me? You traded in your gamecube and a stack of games to get your Wii for $300...now that is what I call totally getting screwed.

Yes, EB Games are the best store in Australia for games, but that doesn't make it ok to be ripped off.

I swapped a Ps2, Xbox GC and about 14 games total between them to get the Wii for free Woot. Didn't bother me since the Wii is a GC, the Xbox sucked, and i kept the Ps2 games i like anyway.

And she is right not to take your game back if it has a scratch.
What so you buy a game damage it so you return it leaving them with faulty merchandise and you with your money back.
So now they have a broken game and there $80 down the drain.
Eb games is a big business and big bussines rake in the cash dude.
Your fault for damaging it.
Luckily my eb are great and give me my money bak all the time.
Now eb are erally good with their sales.
Like buy 2 get one free.
Their massive half price like the other day they had a sale at my eb $25 dollars off marked price all new realeses including COD 4 mass effect AC.
So i love eb
