I like them both but to be honest Slipknot, especially their earlier before-we-got-rich-as-all-sh*t stuff is in a different league to Disturbed. I like just about every Disturbed song but they lack the depth and lasting appeal of Slipknot. If you can't handle the screaming don't hate on what you can't handle.

20 years ago they were great. It's when Load was released in 1997 I believe is when I started to dislike them. Metallica were my favourite band for years! Until Load. St Anger got a little heavier but it was still crap IMO. Death Magnetic is a little more old school.

Death Magnetic's instruments are fantastic I think, however James's voice, while has gone back a little old school also still destroys some of the songs. But anyway, still a big relief from Load etc.
