Has anyone been reading (the new) Nintendo Gamer magazine? I was pretty excited when I saw the first issue, because it's hard enough to find Nintendo specific magazines these days, let alone an Australian one. This month issue 4 was late coming on to the shelves, I emailed Next to find out why, their reply stated that although issue 4 should be on the shelves (it did appear a few days later), it would be the last issue. Of course nothing is said in #4 to suggest that there will be no issue 5,6, etc. They are encouraging subscribers, running competitions, talking about upcoming games/reviews, etc (most likely the decision to axe the magazine was made after #4 went to print).
So, my question is; is anyone subscribed to NG, and have you received any notification of the magazine ending? otherwise, I guess this is a headsup to say, if you do read NG and are thinking of subscribing, I'd hold out a couple of weeks to see if issue 5 does or doesn't appear.

I love that magazine you are kidding right the peoplre who run that magazine are the same people who used to do total gamer magazine I can't beleive there getting rid of it I better get the last issue then if enough people buy it they might consider continueing but I have to say the magazine is a bit overpriced what you pay for that magazine you might pay for another magazine that comes with a cd/dvd

yeah it is a little steep, considering the relatively small amount of material in the mag. But I don't think you'll find many similar A4 magzines around for much less. I also get PCPP with the DVD and that is a few dollars more, it does have a lot more content though.
