MyWii was hit up by the ESA because someone was selling a WiiKey on MyGames. Because pretty much all the other My Sites share the server that MyGames is on, they were all shut down when the service provider disallowed public access to the server.
Nothing to do with merely talking about chips and region encoding and ISOs.
