Reset your router,
Change the wireless channel to anything but Auto or 6.

I do al the updates and I never get any problems with my wii connecting up to the net appart from vaired loading times, could it be the routers your using?

Tried again today without any success. Wii connects to the wireless router but does not connect to the internet. Looking at the internet connection software it appears as if the Wii doesn't even attempt to connect to the internet when I select "shop". Very peculiar ! Also, when did the Weather and News channels change so that you have to have Connect24 enabled? Used to be that you could do an ad hoc update by clicking on the channel. Now it seems Connect24 must be enabled. Very silly if you ask me.

My Wii internet is fine, although sometimes i have a problem connecting to the wii shop channel. I just use a usb adapter and i havent had a problem with it.

The problem lies with the router, not the Wii.

Late Sunday update, Wii will not connect to the internet. The wireless router works fine and ealier in the day I downloaded the Opera update, and Lylat Wars - no problems, smooth sailing etc. But come the evening - cannot connect. I am tired of this tbh. Today I ordered a Wii LAN adaptor. Hopefully that will be simpler / more consistent.
