Anyway I wanted to post the answer to a common question many of us have that ozmodchips.com answered for me.
Me:I was wondering if future system updates to the Wii could break the Wiikey? I realize it's hard to predict, so I guess I'm wondering if the Wiikey firmware updates will keep it working?
Oz: The wiiKey is write only...so even when you put your config disc in - you can't read the settings on the chip. Which is what makes it stealth. If there is no response from it - then it is impossible to detect. There is always a small chance of Nintendo finding out, but I personally doubt that they will. It is not in their best interest, and it will be too hard for them to do!
With WiiXT no where near being ready (they iz poor) www.w0mb13.net/ the bad releases that are on our shores I'm willing to take the risk so I can import, besides if someone posts "omg I updated and it broke my Wii/Wiikey", as long as you don't update and/or can live without the internet channels I guess it's win win...not sure about you guys but I didn't buy a Wii to play old school games or cast votes lol.
