When you charge the power beam/arm cannon and the energy and ammo dropped from the enemies comes flying towards you

That was a very good inclusion to Samus's arsenal.

I waited and waited... but nothing!

My favourite games in the series are Super Metroid, Fusion and Zero Mission. I think it's a huge misstep for Ninty not to release a 2D metroid title for DS.

Maybe they're waiting until DS sales drop a bit and they have to play another trump card.

It may be a very long wait since Nintendo are playing the "happy hello Kitty camera" care at the moment with the DS.
When rumors of Dread" emerged I assume I wasn't the only one hoping for Prime connectivity.
