...the gift card whihc they gave you will have $310(or wateva) stored on there, once you use it, it gets deducted. it wouldnt matter that is written on there

Since when?? My local JB will always price match. Not that they have to very often as they are usually the cheapest but they do otherwise!!

Also the last name thing, is not to be in contact but to maintain a record as there are people out there that will abuse this system. Hell we used to do it at woolies too.

Not all things can be price matched, the "exclusive" laptop deal is probably true. Also read fine print in catalouges as well.
