Wii Software \ How to roll back updates

Well there is a specific Homebrew app called the IOS Downgrader, I heard you can downgrade your firmware with that app. I have that application, but I haven't used it yet. I'm doubting you have homebrew on your Wii, but I think the IOS Downgrader is the only available and known option. If you are to use this application, you'll have to install the custom IOS onto your Wii.

Does that actually lower the firmware? I only thought that deletes everything that you stored on it, so game saves, vc, ww, etc.

But if thats true, that is really good!

Nope, that just deletes all your data, but doesnt actually lower the firmware.

As kiri mentioned, there is some homebrew that can downgrade it, but it's a bit risky, as it is actually messing with your wii's firmware.
