I am sitting in a motel room with a bottle of rum, and a slightly larger bottle of coke, for those of you wondering the rum is 'Captain Morgan's Original Spiced Gold', and the question occurs to me: "What rat infested, structurally unsound motels do your respective employers put you up in?" - believe me, I censored that question, the way it was worded before would have made a sailor blush.
I would be lying if I said that I thought this place was worthy of putting your despised mother in law in. The room I am in was once a shipping container, they haven't even bothered to take it off the god damn trailer they carted it in on. I can stretch out and touch the walls on each side. I went and purchased a sleeping bag and pillow today so that I wouldn't have to sleep on the bed. The tv does not work, no, let me rephrase that, the screen on he tv has been smashed in and all that has happened is that they swept away the glass that fell on the floor. I have a family of the most abhorrent kind in the room next to me cursing, etc. I am not impressed.
This explains why me, my rum, my coke and I will be getting so drunk we pass out and miss the meeting we are here to attend tomorrow morning.
Also, the chair I am sitting on right now was sticky until 10 minutes ago when I cleaned it with a cloth that was marginally cleaner, if any cleaner at all, than the chair. There is no emoticon to demonstrate my disgust.
