DANGEROUS? you have got to be kidding me, what you think that the Wii is automatically going to die or some how kill you in your sleep just because is modded ive modded lots of wiis and had my own modded ever since Wiinja came out roughly beginning of last year and ive never had an issue with it the only dangerous thing about chipping is the installer ive heard of people never using a soldering iron before picking up a iron thats about 125W (note that i use a 20W) and absolutely making a mess just because they have no idea what they were doing so if you are getting it done make sure you deal with a reputable installer apart from that the only other issue is not updating with the wrong regions firmware.

It's about 2/3 of the price, and doesn't cost postage, and all I had to do was open my wii and honestly clip it in. I sat there for 10 minutes wondering if there was something else I had to do.

I literally ripped my faceplate off, and the only problem I had was trying to open it, which there was instructions for.

No problems so far.

those things are a bit of a hit and miss from what ive heard ive read about some that love them and others that it dosnt work at all ive never used one because i know how to solder i just stick to what works for me
