Like the band Kyuss, except it's a real name, just a very old one from Greek and Roman times. Also my wife is a teacher and we did consider the problems he might have with others not knowing how to pronounce it, but at least he wont be the tenth Lachlan in the class.
And with the multicultural nature of Australia he's in the same boat as any Thitiwatna, Xian, Niamhe or Gethadeveran.
