Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time has received a US release date, which has been announced by the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in North America. The US release date will be March 24, 2009. This will also be the release date for the DS counterpart. No word on an Australian release date as of yet.
A new concept will be implemented into multiplayer gaming. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes Of Time will allow Wii and DS players to play along side of each other for the first time. This breakthrough in gaming will allow players to play together in the ame worlds on different consoles.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time features a new gameplay system that allows players to be able to switch from single player to multiplayer mode without exitting the game. This means that players will be able to play anywhere, any time and with anyone to experience a new level of connectivity.
The Story for the game has been told as the following:
A triumphant return from a monster-infested forest marks the completion of the 16-year-old hero's coming-of-age ceremony. However, the hero's joy is short-lived as a young village girl is found to be afflicted by a mysterious illness known as "crystal sickness." Determined to obtain the cure, the hero steps out of the secluded village for the first time, only to discover a world in which crystals are merely artifacts of the past and no longer exist…
A feature list has also been release, which is as follows:
•Online will be included. Players can team up ro compete with friends and players around the world.
•The same control scheme that was introduced for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fate returns in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, which is now adapted to Wii for extra action.
•Even after completing the main adventure, players can still enjoy the game as the
New Game feature provides increased difficulty levels and more items with every round.
•Players will have the option to make their own heroes as well. They can pick out of four familiar races from the series: Clavats, Selkies, Yukes or Lilties OR can even play as their Mii as well.
•Players will also be able to create and customize armour, equipment and meterials for characters to have that extra personalised feeling, thsi means that the possibilities of your character's look will be endless!
•The game wont get boring any time soon as there is a large selection of quests available to play which will provide hours of fun!
