MyWii Feature New Super Mario Bros. Wii

I am semi retired from mk now after the last time i played the game.. Got back my 9999 ranking, then lost it due to being in a pro room for 10 races or so, only losing 50 points or so for a last placing or there abouts, but then out of no where, i got hit by a wifi glitch player d/c that caused me for some ****ed reason to lose 800 or so points for a player d/c. So went from 9999 down to less than 9000 within about an hour or so.. I packed my wii up and shoved into my friggin wardrobe.. Smashed another remote again.. was kinda drunk when all this happened too LOL.. Advantage of having me mums partner being a tradie, i have access to tools of all sorts to smash my remotes up with now lol

.. Online play is so much about luck, if your winning a race, you dont rewarded anymore, you get item raped lol.. going on 4 days without mkw and i aint missing it one bit

not only that, but too many hackers out there and cheaters who pick glitched tracks, and the player d/c just **** me off big time more so the fact of it happening once the race has finished and before the points are given thats what really shits me off..

The D/C happened to me right after I won a race and was about to hit 9999, it never awarded the points and took me back down.

Nintendo were high when they created the point distribution system, you'd deservedly win 7 or so races to get to a certain point and lose it all with one ****ed up item rape race.

Syrian : Your spot on there mate.. Thats why my wii is in my wardrobe and will be staying there for a while now, and if or when i do get it out again and i get back to 9999 ill only playing in open rooms, i wont be racing online very often

Yeah, but it doesn't just happen to one person, EVERYONE goes through the same thing from time to time. The difference is whether you let it get the better of you and just quit or not. Choice is yours on how you handle it. At the end of the day, it's just a game and vr is just numbers.

I had a good run on Mario Kart, only ran into a few hackers. Everybody would know my rants about that douche Merlin..but all that aside are there that many people hacking now? I haven't been on for ages.

Unfortunately yes there are, Merlin still hacks, he uses a variety of names, but it's usually pretty easy to tell it's him. There are some others that hack, again you get to know them and just re-set, also still run into hackers in ww's. Ninty are still banning them, but they find ways around it.

That sucks. If they grew up perhaps they'd realise that hacking is pointless. I mean i remember having some great races with members then it would be ruined by a douchebag that hacks. It just makes me angry, especially when people are put off going online...as to me online was the best aspect of Mario Kart Wii.

Yeah, I came back on and ended up getting back up to 9999, so I didn't let it get to me. ;D
