Renegade Kid’s Son of the Dragon cancelled

Some developers are trying to keep 'hardcore' on the Wii, but sadly others are fearing it's already dead and are just not bothering. The latest entry into the mature and not for Wii games list is Son of the Dragon which was being developed by Renegade Kid.

The owner and game director for Renegade Kid, Jools Watsham, stated that the cancelling of Son of the Dragon is due to the sales of other third party 'hardcore' games.

“The original project was slatted [sic] as a Wii / DS combo, but due to the sales of ‘hardcore’ games on the Wii it was cancelled by the publisher.”



Sad news to those you want more 'hardcore' titles on the Wii, let's hope no more cancellings will result after the announcement of this one and no future 'hardcore' titles follow in it's footsteps.

Then again i wuved hardcore games like Madworld yet i didnt buy them . . i guess i could have contributed and maybe that 1 sale would have saved the game.
then again i still have the right to NERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
