The fifth installment in the popular Call Of Duty series makes its way onto the wii as the second COD on the console.

Completely rearranging the rules of engagement and redefining World War II gaming, players are thrust into the final battles against a ferocious new enemy.

In some of the most dangerous and suspenseful action ever seen in WWII, Call of Duty: World at War brings an uncensored edge to combat. Soldiers will face climactic battles from Europe and the Pacific, fighting an enemy who knows no surrender.

Take on this volatile action as players employ new features that previously were only-available in multiplayer COD modes, including perks, rankings and online stats in up-to full four-player cooperative gameplay. New infantry and vehicle-based weapons, like the potent flamethrower, are also brought to the battlefield.

probably the costs and maintenance involved with implementing servers for the 'small' aussie base didn't meet the bottom line ($$$) for EA... none more sh!tty than i was at the time...

in saying that i was still a sucker and got it (MOH:H2) in from the UK just the other day (15 pounds ($32 AUD) with free delivery - www.365games.co.uk). the online matches are awesome! best gaming decision i've made

i'll still be getting this new COD when released! looks awesome

I think it means up to 4 players can play online, like you can go online even with your friends or you can play offline multiplayer mode. I think there is death match, capture the flag and more. You can also go online with only yourself (1 player).

The game is great but i feel they didn't really put in the effort for the wii release, but it is a big step for online FPS's for the Wii.
Maybe next time they will realise the nintendo has a massive market and we can get death cards, vechiles in multiplayer, zombies, more levels, more than 8 people in a match and dogs in single player. U get what u get, and wat u get is a decent FPS.

well single player campaign is not really worth getting excited about . . its alirght tho and will fill in time . . the multiplaya is the best thing . . Until MWii comes out in November it is the best online FPS on wii

ANWA are half cheats and half sore losers... i have played so many games against and with these guys. thye hack the game to make it easy for them and when they get the butts kicked, they choose the end the game early/ ANWA if you r a real good team WHICH YOU AINT. you would stop the hacks and cheat and ending the game early to give everyone else a chance... if u idiots are coward enough to cheat and stuff around, your going down, i will do everythin in my power to make sure anwa dont exist on world at war. GROW THE FUK UP LOSERS AND CHEATERS.. DTA are so much better than you and u cant handle it.. o and my name in waw is CRAZY AMPHA. get used to it because your ass is mine ya pak of cheats and coward losers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuken grow up
