They may work but not to the full extent of GH:WT guitars.
The newer guitars have a fret tapping and guitar slide simulation built into the guitar controller.

This translates to basically more buttons and sensors. These sensors pickup if you're doing the fret tapping and or sliding actions.

Have played this on the PS3. I don't really have room for all this stuff in my room (So won't get it on the Wii)but i love it. Its so much fun.

Great when you have a few mates around because everyone can have a go, Even if you suck like me you can put it on a lower level so you can still have fun with your mates.

but rock band came out first everywhere else.
although it doesn't matter, its not really copying, it was eventually gonna get to this stage anyway

Looks pretty good. When people who suck try to play a song, i always grab my Bass or Electric and play the song perfectly on a REAL guitar while they struggle to play it on a piece of plastic, just to annoy the dead crap (Yes, not living. If your crap is alive, go see a doctor) out of them.

The next one DAMN sure better have AC/DC, or else there will be hell to pay...

i reckond it a great game, especially with good speakers in the background. i havent got it, but got Guitar Hero Legends of Rock on Wii and Guitar Hero Decade on DS. Soon to get it on ps3 as personal choice.

last august we like looked in the Kmart catalouge and it sed dat they sell guitar hero world tour.... so we went there and then they ddnt have any so we pre order it and stuff.... And the staff there sed it will come soon, but up to now, it still hasnt.... lol how long do we have to wait men.... i was like looking forward to it and stuff so i could play it this holidays and my bday and we still havent got it....
